I found this out by mistake and wanted to pass it along to the forum.
My wife likes to use an after market cushion on the passenger seat to give her a little more height.
What I found out is it can mess with the sensor in the seat for deploying the air bag.
If you use a firm cushion it acts as a bridge to distribute the weight to the outside of the seat so
the sensor is not triggered. A soft cushion like you would use on a kitchen chair seems to work
just fine. Pretty big safety issue!
