    Shocks bad at 60k miles

    I do drive my car hard and it's no surprise they are bad. Just sucks as it's an extra expense $60 on two used tires and now I need rear shocks.

    What shocks did you put on it?
    Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

    Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

    Wow...that is some funky tire wear for sure! Well...it's cheaper to install new shocks now than to ruin another set of tires prematurely due to lousy shocks. Was that wear pattern just on your rear tires?

    I'm no expert, but that wear pattern reminds me of either misalignment or balance problems, or both.

    No haven't had the extra money for an alignment. Had used tires put on. Just moved to a new apartment.

    The rest of the tire was fine. Just that one section was bad.
