    Side AC vent dial removal

    Anyone know how to remove both side of the AC vent dial? what's the best way to pull it out

    Not sure what dials you refer to. Do you mean the vents, or the control dials? Could you elaborate on your plans?

    It is both AC Vent, see the picture. I just try to figure out the best way to pull it out as it seems to be a bigger piece..

    Anyone pull that out?

    Sorry, I have no experience with pulling it out.

    The service manual references it (see item #6) but I can't seem to find any disassembly instructions.


    Sorry I don't have more useful information for you. Let us know what you find, and perhaps explain why you wish to remove this.

    i think i saw a thread before wherein he bought a carbon fiber for those vents and the mids and swapped it. ill post it if i find the thread and maybe we could ask how.

    Yea... Those were mine. You don't remove the vents. The carbon fiber pieces get double stick taped over the front of the vents. What are you trying to do?

    try to remove the center so that you could check if theres any latch you may pry to remove the silver lining

    hehe just an update on this. Actually you can pry on the sides of it using a pry tool or something flat. just be careful because it has a small bearing in there which you can see once lifted.
