In contrast to the earlier Canadian review of the sedan posted earlier, this one by Aaron Gold has much better things to say. (If you follow Mirage reviews, you probably know that Aaron refused to climb on the autojourno bandwagon that bashed the 2014 Mirage at its U.S. debut.)

Bullet points from this review (top spec CVT model):

- scorn that isn’t entirely deserved
- improved for 2017
- offers space galore
- Yes, it’s slow. Yes, it’s noisy.
- Fuel efficient? Should be.
- Ride and handling: Not a strong suit.
- The Mirage’s ace in the hole... WARRANTY
- Bottom line: Not as bad as people say it is.

Aaron's verdict:

In my opinion, the king of the cheap car segment is the Nissan Versa sedan, the least expensive version, priced at $12,825. Even when you add the equipment that comes standard in the Mirage ES, it still undercuts the Mitsubishi by $1245.
