Just a FYI on hauling long items. Remove the headrests from the passenger seat and both headrests from the rear seat. Move the passenger seat as far forward as possible. Fold down the rear seats and then recline the passenger seat until it is laying down. Now you have at least a six foot length space to work with that doesn’t cram you forward.

I hope you're okay with that.

It's pretty frustrating. I've found that one way to hold my phone for taking photos that seems to work well for posting here on the forum.
    Thank you egg!!
What is the method you found while taking a pic where it posts right?

I rotate my phone 90° clockwise from normal vertical - I think haha. That's what works for me.

I will try it once. I usually shoot in landscape. Which would be 90deg from vert.

Last fall, I was actually able to fit 8' long metal fence posts in there by doing just that. They ended up sitting on the dashboard, frighteningly close to the windshield. I always carry a towel (good advice), so I put that down underneath to keep them from scratching the dashboard.

(Apologies for the rotated images. I rotated them correctly on my computer, but they just wont show up right on here.)

Nicely done! For being a subcompact the Mirage / Space Star has a surprising interior volume for hauling stuff.
