The G4 seems to have a bottomless fuel tank when filling it up.

I picked up the loaner G4 from Mitsubishi yesterday and first thing on my list was to top off the tank and reset the gauges to get an accurate picture of fuel consumption.

In my own car (Firefly/Metro), I normally do a "3-click" top off to try to get it close to the same level each fill for accuracy.

But if I'm trying to calibrate a car's fuel economy gauge to actual fuel consumption, I like to see the fuel in the filler neck for each fill.

With the G4, it kept disappearing. The pump clicked off 10+ times and each time the fuel level disappeared again.

I suspect it was draining into the EVAP line.

Anybody else experienced this? I don't remember this issue on the 2014 Mirage hatch I drove.
