    Replacement left side mirror

Special thanks to Rock Auto for providing a solid replacement. The replacement fit great and in many ways, I believe to be superior to the OEM design. The new part is a different design - no interchangeability.

Old mirror - frame, cover, positioning motors, and integrated turn-signal available. Glass is shattered.

So the new mirror came in a shiny black plastic instead of the cheaper looking pale plastic?

Yes. It looks quite nice. The product is described as ready to paint, but I see it is fine as it is. Too bad the two mirrors no longer match. I suppose it makes mine unique lol.

    Automotivetouchup.com.

They sell great quality base and clear coat paints that spray on better than any I've used before.

I have also been surprised at the quality of some aftermarket parts, surpassing OEM. Thanks for links!

Might be fun to see what kind of results you can get.

In my opinion, yes. I waited for dusk to get a better sense of light output. I turned on the emergency hazard flashers.

Just for trivia, the mirror turn signal is a light pipe.
