    2022 Mirage Hatchback Rear Alignment...Typical

Had the alignment measured at the local tire shop today and it was out of spec as anticipated. Barely out on the toe, so now I have to decide whether it is worth the hassle of going to the dealership an hour away.

Doesn't seem horrible. IIRC, toe isn't a "pull" angle, so it should track ok. Maybe a little faster treadwear, but probably not much at that number.

Try a different shop and they'll probably give you a different readout. Might make you feel better?

Compared to some this is not too bad. I will probably just be diligent about rotating the tires, like I should anyways

there's no adjustable on the rear its fixed, and judging by that reading its camber so either your left wheel is a bit upfront or behind the only reason for this to move is your rear cross member bushing is worn or that machine is not calibrated.

My rear axle is within spec...barely. My left rear toe is +0.27 degrees (the max spec is +0.28). I rotated my tires at each oil change (every 5,000 miles). HERE is what all 4 of my tires looked like after 90,000 miles.

The rear alignment doesn't have to be perfect. If it's really close (like yours) you may not even notice any unusual tire wear if you keep your tires inflated properly and keep them rotated.

You saved me with this advice after examining my alignment printout 4 years ago Top!

Yeah, your rear toe is a hair out of spec. But some early cars were really bad. I remember walking past a black '14 ES Nav in the parking lot of a Walmart some years ago and the rear toe was so far out I could actually see it.

Filling up the gas tank will probably change the alignment. Considerably. The trailing axles are flimsy tinfoil. Remove the rear coil springs and they just flop around like a wet piece of cardboard. Just saying

My car drives really nice. So I'm NOT going to get the alignment checked because I don't want to start being concerned about it.
