I would certainly like it stiffer in the rear, but don't want the rear to end up noticeably harder than the front. Front and rear should harmonize, and with that in mind may I ask:

Whats better, Swift, Yaris or "the KYB oem later-model" replacement?

i think that would depend, but so far after changing mine http://mirageforum.com/forum/showthr...-springs/page2 its still ok. it still has some play with the rear springs i got unlike the others that i've heard using a jazz springs is too stiff.

Unfortunately KYB Europe told me on the phone they have no Mirage/SpaceStar in their catalog and nothing for them.

I specifically told them about KYB springs RZ5121 being available in other countries.
I was told they do not have any part at all beginning with "RZ".

I looked in the downloadable catalogs of other KYB sites, and there was no mention of our cars. Sucks...

    EDIT 2019:

There are several makes of the stiffer rear stock springs available, at least here in Europe.

    These include:

    CS Germany: Part number 14.620.034
    KYB Europe: RA5070
    Lesjöfors: 4259271
    TRISCAN: 875042108

Nice video of the unobtainable KYB rear suspension components:

KYB Excel-G gas shocks and K-flex coil springs on 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage

It appears that this excellent and to-the-point video is for a Philippines spec Mirage GLX by Joed Felipe. I would appreciate if any forum members can provide more details on these components as they don't appear to be available here in my market.

P.S.: Thanks NaimaRaiko for sharing this. I am interested in finding a set of these KYB springs & shock absorbers.
