Mirage Stock Tow Hook Insert (With Pics)

I havnt seen anyone mention this but while looking through my factory lug kit I found this very hefty eye hook sort of thing and realised it was a removable tow hook. So in case you havnt seen it, here are some pics.

Sorry the car is dirty. It's a 2017 Mirage G4 SE

I noticed this towing hook while browsing the manual. I didn't think I would ever use it.

    Tools
    1- Tools bag
    2- Wheel nut wrench
    3- Jack bar
    4- Towing hook

^ Ultimately the idea is to not use it, lol. But still, lol.

Not so lol if you gotta use it.
I had to install and use it on my 2014 to winch it up onto the flatbed truck when I was having engine issues.
I dont know if I would use it for anything more aggressive though, like pulling it out of a ditch.
    Will weld for beer.

It sure beats taking off the entire front bumper of the car to have it towed like I do with the Evo's.

We had a not so bright tow truck driver hook up to the tie rod while pulling one of the cars up on onto his deck truck. This would have been prevented by using the hook. Best part was the guy claimed it was like that before.

Where is this located physically in the car? I can't find it, my jack handle or any of the other stuff.
