If you have steering wheel controls you can turn your radio on & off with them. Much faster.

By your recommendation, I tried this. I didn't time it, but I noticed no difference in timing between the radio controls and the steering wheel mounted controls.

Interesting, must be perception due to not having to divert attention to the dash to shut the radio off. It's a pretty handy feature nonetheless.
