    Hello,

Yes I ordered the manual transmission mirage. Unfortunately I wanted the car in blue and there was only orange left in the base trim in Ontario Canada so my car is currently on a ship and should be ready for me between February 20th and 23rd.

Very excited for my new car. First brand new vehicle I have ever purchased.

Thanks to everyone for the help in the decision making process.

    Hey - congrats!!

I kind of like that burnt orange colour. But the blue is good too.

So you're getting the base model, the $9998 special? Or the next one up with AC?

Thank you, and yes I did not mean I would have hated the orange but I prefer the blue and I like the idea of my new car not being test bribed before and with all the plastic covers on it so that's part of the reason I ordered mine instead of just taking what was Available.

I did end up getting that base trim without ac. I was considering the next model up but it would of ended up costing $4000 more just for ac which seamed a bit much.

After all the taxes and fees my final price was $13,456 (9998 special).

If I can get mileage close to what your getting I will be happy.

Dont worry about the rpm... Its a petrol so you can push it... From what i have read the Cvt its not the best choice for highway, speacialy if there are climbs... Its a funny thing in europe a few years back there were almost manual gears now many people are choosing automatics... And i get the idea that in usa are going the oposite...

Wow at these day and age, we still can live with car without A/C? Amazing... A/C should come standard...

Yes I agree that it should. Not sure if it is like that in the USA but for a lot of vehicles in Canada getting ac means moving up to a trim level 2-4 grand above the base price.

    Troytroy40 - just checking in...

Did you end up getting the car last year? How do you like it?

I have seen one parked in a driveway on County Rd 21 west of Spencerville. That you?

I will attest US market gets AC standard in EVERYTHING. That said, some of the cold weather gear that you enjoy in the great north is completely unavailable here, e.g. heated mirrors. not even an option on US spec mirages

I can't speak for him but I've had mine ice up a couple times. Usually freezing rain.
