They come on when you tun the lights on. Gives it a nice effect, not too bright just enough to illuminate that area. It also adjusts when you dim the brightness of the interior lights. I was able to score it for real cheap on ebay from a vendor that had a few open box items. Came with instructions and everything. Complete plug and play.

Still has a few left for half the cost from the dealer

Not very expensive, either. Currently $11.78 at Amazon.

I think it's funny that Amazon lists this horn under 'Toys & Games.'
    Ha. That's just mean. lol

I think the 2017 model is not as "moddable" as the previous generation. The grid and chromes on the front bumper, make any exterior modification difficult to look good. It has a more serious vibe...

I am considering wrapping all the chrome bits in dark grey/silver or maybe black carbon fiber. Maybe hydro dip?

I have the Boston Winter Mod. Big shovel, big Sorel- 40°C boots, gloves, 2 extra jackets, spare water. It's a very expensive mod. Very important too. Oh, and a dead rat as my space saver for when dig out the car. And no, don't touch my space saver or take my spot!

Still averaging 41 mpg over 740 miles of ownership. And thats with extensive warm up idle due to cold. Most of my gear including my shovel are lightweight. My sorel boots and water weigh the most
