    Thanks for the LOL!

I haven't checked out the Spark forum in a while. Are people having reliability issues with the redesigned 2016 model too?

CVT issues would be a concern, considering it's the same unit the Mirage uses.

Not as bad. But still. Those kind of issues are scary. I'm really grateful Mitsubishi built a nice little car. Gotten used to the cvt. Hunting for a manual for me as the Mrs fell in love with the 15. Thinking a 17 but I don't want to pay too much for a manual

I had a 2014 mirage and a 2014 spark both for about a year and there area few things the spark does have over the mitsu. Here in the rust belt the mitsu started to rust on the undercarriage after its first winter. Nothing serious but it was enough that it would lead to issues down the road. The spark was also built better, heavier steel, more beefy interior, everything felt solid. I loved both cars and the mitsu was more fun to drive, but the spark felt much more "long lasting" to me. Of course that's just opinion not fact.

    Thanks for that info, Jibles.

The 2014 Spark does have a few pounds on the 2014 Mirage, so it should feel a bit more substantial...

    Mitsubishi Mirage 74 hp 1973 lbs 26.3 lbs/hp
    Chevrolet Spark 84 2337 27.8

    I still haven't driven a Spark. It's on my to-do list though.

The Mirage interior seems bigger than the Spark or am I crazy

    Not crazy.

And the Spark only has 2 seatbelts in the back.
