    Exclamation Removing hood washer sprayers help

    Going to be carbon fiber wrapping the hood tomorrow and wanted to know what the proper way of removing the washer sprayers without damaging them or breaking any clips. Thank you. Please provide a step by step of possible.

    I did this earlier this year sometime.

    Just going off memory... I believe the under hood insulation covers the area and I cut through it with 2 circles where the nozzles are located. It was easier than trying to peel the insulation off, as I found it was glued to the hood, not clipped like most cars. Next, I pulled the hose off each nozzle with some pliers; came off pretty easy. After that, there are 2 clips, one on front and one on the back of the nozzle, I just used some needle nose pliers to push them together to pop out of the hood. They snapped back into place very well when re-assembling. Other than some hood insulation missing, you would never know I took them off. Hope this helps!

    Heh, don't even notice signatures. I would like to retract my statement. Needs a "For Dummies" guide on car modding if this is difficult enough it had to be asked.
