    Goodbye tinny horn.

Just installed a Fiaam Freeway Blaster Horn #72112 on my 2017 Mirage SE. What a difference. The install was a snap going down in front of the radiator. I purchased the horn on Amazon. Next I'll be installing side marker lights, but not sure if I want the chrome or smoke lens.

When I hear the Mirage horn, and many others like it, I always think of Randy Newman's song "Short People"

    "They got little cars
    That go beep, beep, beep"

    for whatever that is worth.

Maybe we could get an old-school a-oo-ga sound?

Is the horn plug and play or does it require a dedicated circuits with relay? Many horns with a substantial sound require more current than the factory horn can deliver. Agreed, so many small Asian cars have terrible horns. VW at least gets the horns right. And frankly, quite a few other things too

    Not me lol.

Still, I don't mind helping someone find something about these cars. Maybe it will help others understand these cars better and in turn *possibly* help make these cars more valuable, despite the efforts of various professional reviewers.

I do read the forum, but not every single post. Asking a question about the horn in a thread about said horn seems reasonable enough. But thanks for the link, IC. I've ordered the horn and will install because it's cheap, sounds better and doesn't require a relay.
