Usually here for intros, but this time it's goodbye :-(

Sadly my little Bullet Bill was involved in an accident on Tuesday night. A lady turned into oncoming traffic and I couldn't stop in time. She was driving an Audi S7, which are pretty much built like tanks. Unfortunately my litle Mirage didn't hold up so well. By the time I saw her I didn't even have time to apply the brakes and slammed into her at about 40mph. Luckily the car did what it was supposed to and I was able to walk/ limp away with no bruises or scratches. The only pain I have is from the knee airbag hitting my leg, so that's a little stiff. I only had it 7 months. Not sure what I'll end up in but may go back to my Honda roots. Thanks everyone for all the help and be safe out there on the roads

Doh, sorry to hear that! Glad to hear you're okay though. Hope to see you back in a Mirage, but I know something new is always fun. I'd definitely try the 2017s though as it seems they're a fair amount nicer.

By the looks of the wheels and steering wheel, this was a 2017.

Sad day man. Hope you heal up.

That's a pretty hard hit! Glad you are ok. Those knee airbags seem to sting pretty good.

Wow, that really sucks. But the car gave it's life for you...like it was supposed to. Hope to see you back, but enjoy whatever you replace Bill with.
