Starter grinding no warranty coverage

Remove the main power wire without wrench touching any metal (slide heater hose over the wrench). Then slide smaller heater hose over the positive terminal. R&R starter. That's the flat rate way of doing it haha.

Always remove the ground terminal first
That way you only have to worry about touching the pos. terminal with the wrench

Yes but like I said, if your a technician you don't do it that way.

Why would a "Technician" remove the Positive wire first?
I have never heard anyone recommend doing that before
