    Skullcrusher hit a milestone today

    I took delivery 12/28/16
The car turned 1000 miles this evening.
    Lifetime MPG ( B ) 42.5 mpg
    Instant ( A ) was 51.2 tonight.
Since you were asking about fuel mileage on the 17.
Mine is an ES 5MT with LED taillights and DRL
    Halogen headlights.
Car is driven in Boston traffic daily.

Were you able to make entries in the forum's Fuel Economy Log? Let's get more 2017 models in there.

I think this is significant. One example is the recent Mitsubishi fuel economy cheating scandal - it was proven to not affect their North America market since our fuel economy log was averaging at or better than their EPA ratings. All that had been set up by MetroMPG & Daox and data collected before the news broke.

I haven't yet. I posted this just to show as people have been asking about the 17.
Anyone with the cvt post yet on a 17?

I have never gotten anywhere near those numbers in the 650 miles I have driven Mitsuko (2017 G4 SE) since purchase 11/29/16. I do more short city hops than any long drives since I work at home and do not commute. Even on longer jaunts, 30-32 in city is about the highest. That is certainly more than my Buick ever got!

She gets to go on a road trip in February Kansas City to St Louis about 500 miles round trip. I 70 is pretty straight and flat so I can see what highway milage I can get.

Our 2017 will be turning over 1000 miles on the odometer probably today.

Short trips are bad for fuel economy. I have the same problem.

    I didn't know CVTs had a break-in period.

I can't imagine with only 650 miles that cvt has had tine to really break in. Especially in city only driving.

Ya you were saying that. Have you kept up with fuel economy over the first 1k?
