I thought I would hate this feature, but I really don't. I only use the AUTO setting in the summer with the AC on. Set it to 73 and forget about it. I keep the temp at about 73 during the fall/winter as well (AC off), and use the manual settings to put air where I need it.

Works well enough, but when I bought the car I would have preferred manual controls.

HA! Never noticed it until you mentioned it! It does kind of stick out.

My only real complaint is the wipers. No matter what kind of wiper I put on it, it skips over the windshield when the car is moving over about 40 mph. I should try to buy/fabricate some kind of Miata-style windshield wiper spoiler.

That's weird as I haven't had this problem. I'll have to pay attention to it.

5th gear is geared up too low. It's not bad for 50-55mph. Anything over 55 the rpms are too high

My wiper was squealing last winter. I tightened my serpentine belt cause it was a little loose - it makes a sound when I started up. After tightening the serpentine belt, the wiper seems to move better. I guess there is more electricity going to the wiper now.

The lone cabin light doesn't illuminate the interior sufficiently, particularly the back seats. They should move the light to the center of the ceiling.

Boy isnt that the truth... I have small kids, and they are always dropping something in the floor in the back, and realistically ask, Hey Dad, can you turn the light on? And I am thinking... no, it wont help you, but you cant tell that to a 7 year old, so I have this one stupid light glaring me right in the face as I am driving, and they have zero help... lol. Been there, done that a THOUSAND times!
