    Question for the european owners

I understand all cars in europe need an SOS button for whatever reason, as mentioned here: https://autorepmans.com/en/autonews/...in-europe.html

Does the mirage have one in europe? if so what does it look like? and maybe how does it work? how much does it cost?

    Hello Mohammad,
My car is from 2020 and there is no such button. I know that in 2021 version also does not have this button. May be it is from 2022 or 2023?? If it is getting mandatory, it will be an pleasure for me to get it from AliExpress hah
    My best regards

Didn't know it was mandated, but that explains something.
At work there is a Ford van with a hideously looking dashboard that tells me a stoned manga cartoon artist may have attempted "designing" it.
When you want to drive it, it makes nerve racking noises and the display annoys with insisting messages like "could not pair bluetooth mobile phone". I always drive it without a mobile phone. Probably that mandated system uses a driver or passenger mobile phone.
There was very much successful lobbying in the European parliament. Mandatory are non-transformer switch-mode power supplies, that produce a lot of RF-pollution, mandatory are ABS brakes, and all sorts of not really necessary stuff that adds to the cost of living.

I read every page of user manual and I did not see anything like E Call. Maybe I missed something.
I learnt that in France, it will be mandatory from may 2023 if you want to get Tüv/Control technic certificate
One thing is sure for me, there is no way to use it in my car, I will find a way to get rid of it
