Thread: Grey Ghost :: 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage ES (Garage entry)

  1. General Information
    Grey Ghost
    2014
    Mitsubishi
    Mirage ES
    Dark Gray
    CVT

This car is being added to my collection of Geo Metros, and the one Civic VX that I have left. It will become my daily driver when completed.
Purchased from a guy that deals in cars he purchases from insurance auctions. Driver's fender, door and mirror needed replacement. Driver's rear door and rear wheel area needed some rework. Fairly easy repair. About an hour to remove bad door, rehang new one, and install new fender.

Looks good. Now you just need to find that one trim piece.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/172448513778

Are you going to remove the door trim on passenger side or add a set to the drivers side?

I found the triangle looking trim piece in the back of the car. Already sprayed it with trim paint and reinstalled. Got carried away with taking the pics, before installing it. Need to find some door moldings for the drivers side, and one front mud flap for the drivers side. Probably have to buy a whole set of moldings and flaps. Grrr....

Nice. I have a set of door mouldings for both sides. Pay for shipping and their yours. Took them off my 17...they are white though...so you'd have to paint body color or trim black. Let me know.

There is a guy parting out a '15 ES near me. If I decide to contact him I will see how much he wants for that bit of fender trim.

    Thank you.
And your body shop connection already has the paint color dialed in.

Bravo! And you got the bulbs sorted out too. Well done.

    What's next?

Got to submit the paperwork, and wait on DMV to contact me for a final inspection.
