Mirages in the wild winter observations!

Living in NY I noticed something over the last two weeks I've seen a couple Mirages 2014-2017 that are parked and pampered during bad weather. Dott and Dolores are treated special too! Dott hasn't been driven through salt and snow. Dolores has been a little bit but I've spent hours keeping her squeaky clean.

It's funny the cheapest most abused cars by the press people in my area seem to be going out of the way protecting their little Mirages.

Time will tell on how bad these rust out. I hope they are better than most economy cars.

Rust problems are more a problem of owners neglect than vehicle manufacture.

Keep salt, sand, etc. off your vehicle by washing it regularly, more than monthly, more like weekly or sooner. I've seen early 80's Accords in Minnesota rust free because they were taken care of. The minute you notice rust of any sort. Fix it.
