Try 0000
No workie... this can be frustrating... called the local dealer and even they didn't know.
I think you press and hold the bluetooth button and it gives you the code? Or try pulling the negative battery terminal to reset everything.

I'm trying the Mitsubishi online support now. Will try the bluetooth button trick.
Bluetooth button didn't work.
So Mitsubishi sent me this:
Thank you for visiting Mitsubishicars.com. Please try the following steps to clear the passcode from your vehicle:
1. Ensure power is OFF for the radio.
2. Press and release the following buttons in this order 1 RPT, << SEEK, SEEK >>, 4>>
3. The words HFM DIAG should appear on the screen.
4. Press and release the SEL button.
5. Hold down the SEL button for a long time(about 5sec).
6. Disable the passcode

Didn't work so I'm going to call.
Edit: So I called and the rep had me go through the previous sequence and it unlocked the hands fee system. Yayyyy!!!
