YEAH RIGHT!!!!! I wouldn't put that garbage in my engine if you paid me.
The Roller Skate has run Mobil 1 since new and that's all she gets.

Bravo for the Mobil 1 - it's what I put in Speck.

Don't discount the WalMart brand Supertech so quickly. The PQIA says the stuff they tested is legitimate.

The Petroleum Quality Institute of America (PQIA) is an independent resource for information and insights on the quality of lubricants in the marketplace. Our mission is to serve the consumer of lubricants by randomly sampling and independently testing lubricants taken from the field. Test results are posted along with the brand names on the PQIA website. This webpage provides an analysis on the brand detailed below.

The following are the test results for the sample examined.

    SuperTech Conventional SAE 5W-30
    Product: SuperTech Conventional
    Viscosity Grade: SAE 5W-30
    Labeled: API SN/GF-5

    Marketed by: Walmart Stores Inc
    Purchased at: Bourbannais IL
    Date of purchase: 1/5/2015
    Website(s): www.walmart.com

    Test Results and Assessment:
The results of the tests conducted on this sample meet the SAE J300 specifications for the SAE Viscosity Grade listed on the product label, and are consistent with the listed API Service Categories.

SuperTECH High Mileage, API SN/GF-5, SAE 5W-30 motor oil
Manufactured in the US for Walmart
    Purchased at: Walmart, Piscataway, NJ
    Date of purchase: 8/15/2014

The results of the tests conducted on this sample meet the requirements of an API SN, ILSAC GF-5, SAE 5W-30 motor oil.
However, another similarly branded motor oil was tested as not meeting quality standards:

    Purchased at: Chicago Heights, IL
    Date of purchase: 11/30/2016
    Website(s): No Website Found

    Test Results and Assessment:

The results of the tests conducted on this sample do NOT meet the SAE J300 specifications for the SAE Viscosity Grade listed on the product label. The Kinematic Viscosity @ 100°C is 32% lower than the minimum viscosity specification for this SAE grade. In addition, the organometallic additive levels in this sample indicate the product is NOT suitable for use in the majority of automobile engines currently on the road, and the metal analysis results for this sample indicate the product may be contaminated with used oil and abrasive material. The label on this product does not list any API Service Category, instead it states "CAUTION: THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT MEET ANY KNOWN OIL SERVICE CATEGORIES."

Note: The labeling on this product is a potential source of confusion for consumers. The front label on the bottle prominently displays the “Supertech” name and the back label shows both “Supertech” and "SuperTech.” Understanding that “SUPER TECH” is a registered Trademark owned by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., use of the Supertech name on the AP Lubes bottle could confuse customers to think they are buying a Wal-Mart motor oil.
Now, I'm not endorsing SuperTech lubricants, but it might just be good enough for someone driving a cheap little economy car on a tight budget.

I can't remember how I came across the PQIA website but I found it useful in learning more about the various motor oils out there. The label & brand reputation may not be well known, but if the oil meets ILSAC criteria it should work fine.

I didn't do anything today (left my tools at home), but last week I replaced the DE steering wheel with an ES steering wheel. Audio controls and cruise control (after some ETACS programming!) for less than $100! The various odds and ends I had to buy probably put the total closer to $120. No biggie when you compare it to what these parts cost new with labor!

I personally do not, but a friend has offered to let me use theirs when they get out of work. I was able to get the driver side lock nut off no problem, but I think the passenger one might be bent slightly
