That sir, is deserving of a massive street party in your honor.
Mind though, since a Mirage costs about as much as one door on a Mercedes paying off the Mirage is a darn site easier! LOL.

I finally got around to properly installing my neoprene waterproof seat covers. They were fairly priced, I think I paid $50 for both fronts and the rear. I'm really happy with the way they fit and blend in with the existing cabin. Now I have fewer worries if kid (or me in all likelihood) drops anything sticky in the car. I still need to fiddle with the rear to get the center seat belt the way I like it.
Weathertech, waterproof seat covers & seat back protectors should keep the interior looking new. I hope.

After 82,000 miles of pizza delivery duty, I had to replace my driver's seat.
For months now I have been having severe mid-back pain. I finally traced it to the seat in my Mirage. While it looked okay, the support and bolstering was just....gone. There were areas of the seat where the frame had actually worn through the cushioning.
I probably get in and out of this car 50-100 times a day. That kind of wear and tear finally caught up to me. I noticed the problem some months ago but didn't find a suitable replacement seat until just last week. Since mine is an ES the seat was a little harder to track down. I have a '15 ES, and the only seat that will be a perfect match needs to come from, well...a '15 ES. DE seats actually weren't too hard to find; I'd wager about 75% of Mirages sold were/are base models.
A boneyard about 30 miles south of me finally got a '15 ES in. Sapphire Blue, hit in the front. It had half the miles mine had on it, and I am sure none of those miles were seat-abusing pizza miles. Swapped it in tonight, and the difference was like NIGHT AND DAY.
Price was a very reasonable $65.

I can't wait until I locate a 6 way seat in a boneyard. I need the height adjustment to have perfect comfort.

Replaced the cabin air filter. 5 min job. Took me longer to empty the junk out of the glove box, than to replace the filter. Lol. They should all be that easy.
