Took the top foldable section of the rear seat out, all hardware and belts, and weighed it, it's 44lbs

Bonus pics of the secret oil storage spot and emergency rations in the hatch (a jacket, some tp, matches)
I left the bottom portion in because I had it out once when I went autocrossing and you can hear the fuel pump whine, and it's super lightweight/protects the wiring and hoses.

I see a dirt molecule in one or more of those pictures.

Ordered windshield cover thru Heat Shield. Should be interesting as it needs to be customized thanks to the sensor(s) on the windshield for model year 2021 and above.

I was going to replace my charcoal canister to get rid of that engine light that's been on since early June when it got wet. Maybe tomorrow...
I got word of another wreck at another location...It's a write off, 2015 with over 300k kms. It ended up having collision coverage and I can't believe what the insurance company is paying out for this thing! It's either 10 or 12k(Cad of course)/$7300-8800usd! But they wanted $2000-2500 to buy the salvage back, cvt might be broken. I said that's a horrible price and let them keep it. They came back asking $1500. I suggested $500 tops.

Looks nice! Is this the Dash Designs brushed suede? Is it black or charcoal? Would you recommend?

Not mine but I’m dragging this turd south and hopefully dragging a bigger, blacker turd back home. Attachment 25863 ps…get off my lawn, I’ll cut it later.

1) Inspected rear seat belts for new car seat and one of these 3 belts got jammed. I tried pulling it and it did nothing. Then I tried inserting the plastic ruler through the belt hole and see if it could be loosen and it did nothing. I couldn’t find any screw to unbolt the rear seats unless I’m plain dummy.
I checked the owner manual and there was nothing to troubleshoot the seat belt being jammed or locked. As a result, I made an appointment with the service dept to get this resolved. I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole seatbelt system for safety reason. This should be covered under warranty.
2) Ordered and received opened box unused Outlander Sports LED Fog lamps w/ relay, zip ties and installation guide. Seller said it fits the 21’+ Mirage. I had my doubt but free return if misfit. Worth a try.
Reason to upgrade? Well why not? I love LED. I want to use it and appreciate the fancy lighting. halogen lamps do not blend well with LED, ever. I looked forward to get it installed soon myself.
3) Im passively thinking ahead for my ever 1st oil change (at least on the CVT) so I tried loosening the oil filter and it was a PITA…but I got it loose. Cheers. I must say there definitely a bit less room to get my hands on vs the G4 w/ manual gearbox I had but it negligible IMO.
Do I do this myself and not worry about any dealer touching the engine bay and under? Or do I have them do the oil change for free? Dealership is 5 miles away from me. Decision decision decision…
