I checked the owner manual and there was nothing to troubleshoot the seat belt being jammed or locked. As a result, I made an appointment with the service dept to get this resolved. I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole seatbelt system for safety reason. This should be covered under warranty.

    2) Ordered and received opened box unused Outlander Sports LED Fog lamps w/ relay, zip ties and installation guide. Seller said it fits the 21’+ Mirage. I had my doubt but free return if misfit. Worth a try.

Reason to upgrade? Well why not? I love LED. I want to use it and appreciate the fancy lighting. halogen lamps do not blend well with LED, ever. I looked forward to get it installed soon myself.

    3) Im passively thinking ahead for my ever 1st oil change (at least on the CVT) so I tried loosening the oil filter and it was a PITA…but I got it loose. Cheers. I must say there definitely a bit less room to get my hands on vs the G4 w/ manual gearbox I had but it negligible IMO.

Do I do this myself and not worry about any dealer touching the engine bay and under? Or do I have them do the oil change for free? Dealership is 5 miles away from me. Decision decision decision…
Installed the LED fog lamps from Outlander Sport to my G4 and it fit great BUT didn’t work. Bummer.

Need a resistor or different relay perhaps?

Too late. I returned it already. The seller said no extra part needed nor extra modification. Just “plug n play” which wasn’t the case. It too bad because I liked it. Oh well.

Dumb question but did you verify the power and ground were the right orientation? Normal bulbs will work if plugged in backwards but leds wont.

thanks for the reminder, my LED dome light is flickering in the cold, it's 6 years old and cost $1.50 so I can't complain.

Apparently the Mirage uses the same air filter as a model of the Yaris and this is what I got. Fits perfectly and was very surprised of the manufacturer.

The cabin air filter was also a surprise on the manufacturer.

It would interesting if someone else ordered the same thing from this vendor to see if they get the same parts.
I ordered the engine air filter ($6.08) & cabin air filter ($0.68). With shipping it was $12-13 for the two.

I received the same Toyota/Denso (17801-0Y050 Made in Japan) engine air filter, but the cabin air filter was not the same. The cabin air filter came in a clear plastic wrap/bag, & there's no name on the bag or filter. It seems the right size, & it will be perfectly fine.

The Toyota/Denso engine air filter seems of good quality. I've used Wix in the past. They may be a little better quality, but the Toyota seems good, too. They took about 2+ weeks to arrive.

Made and installed a new license plate light bracket. It's plastic. The original rotted away.

Replaced (partially) the rear drums and shoes today on the 2015 at approx. 180,000 miles. Still had some brake material but they were squeaking and the drums had probably exceeded limits. I only replaced the shoes once and the drums were never touched. I only partially finished because on the first side when reinstalling I unbalanced the wheel cylinder and noticed it started seeping fluid. Probably was on borrowed time, but I was happy to keep borrowing. Waiting on parts now.
