I've noticed in reviews of Godspeed coilovers, especially with Civics and Miatas, that owners complain about the rear end being bouncy. But that could just be subjective, there's plenty of positive reviews.

There are 16 adjustments available. 1 being stiffer, 16 being softer. I started at 8 on both front and rear. I found that it was really bouncy on the less even roads in the small city of Milton, especially the hilly housing areas. On normal main roads it was fine. I changed the front to 12 and the rear to 10.

The height of the front is 23" from ground to mid fender, and the rear is 23.5". The rear is kept higher as it drops down slightly as weight, or me sitting in it, weighs the back down more. You can stop this by adjusting the stiffness.

Comparing these to my Corolla S 2011 Stock Suspension to my current Mirage Godspeed adjustment, I'd say that the Corolla stock suspension is bouncier.

Have you had a chance to drive with them for a few days? I wonder how the bounciness would be affected with the rear sway bar. I am so glad that you got them so I can see how they are on this car. I want to get them after this winter. The eibach springs are good and improved the car greatly but the dampers are awful and there is nothing better to replace them with.

Hey Marklovski, would you compare the Godspeed kit to your Air Lift kit? Also what are your plans for the Air Lift kit?

I had three days to drive around. Waiting until next Saturday to see how they settle in. I'll adjust the ride height if needed.

Well the Airlift did nothing to the front(obviously). The rear was stiff but not very noticeable(not bumpy) as it was comfortable on the road. The bags did stop the rear front whobbling about when stopping and such. The problem is that the Airbags would cause the rear suspension to kinda jump over speeding bumps(im over exaggerating). So do go slower.

Im still debating on whether i want to sell the Airlift or not. If i go back to stock I would like to keep the Airlift. If I were to sell it it would be about $40.

Gnarles2 my suspension is still stock. It would be interesting to compare and note the differences between these different setups.

That is if you are ever interested in taking Speck for a spin.

Edit: because I am interested in seeing how your suspension kit works.
