    Fumoto Oil Drain Valve Specs

I have always changed my own oil on all my vehicles, and I have had a Fumoto Valve for every one of them.
If you change your own oil, these valves are a life-saver if you're tired of having to remove the oil plug, and
can help reduce how much of mess you make.

I have had the same valve (F106S) and elbow (L-001) for well over 500,000 miles and can vouch for their
reliability. I know I would never go without one. :-)

If you're worried about the valve opening, you don't need to. The valve is spring loaded and needs to be lifted
before it is turned. However, they do make some clips (listed below) to ease those worries.

I thought I'd throw some information and pictures down for anyone interested for themselves.

Above are the available valves available that will work for our Mirages. I have the F106S valve and L-001
90 degree elbow. I bought a 3/8" hose locally instead of from them.

    CVT Oil pan F103

For a small one-time fee, you'll have years of reliable service.

Above are pictures installed on my Mirage.

If you have any questions please throw them my way.

I just bought two of the F106SX for the next oIL change in our two cars. Looking forward to using them.

That's a new design from them, and is a great design for sure. If I ever need any in the future, that's the one I am getting too. Post a pic once you have it installed!

I'll get to see how it works here soon when I do an oil change.

I forgot to mention this, but Fumoto has a 10% off sale and free shipping on orders over $25 for the Columbus Day weekend, through today.

I have one on my WRX and one on my Yaris. I'll be putting on on my Mirage, too. Great product.

I have had the 106S for about 30K miles, no issues, no leaks. Great product. I get my oil at Walmart where they also sell oil filters but do not sell oil drain plug gaskets, which forced me to go to another store. Problem solved with the Fumoto.

For those in Europe who (like me) recognizes that shipping costs are always very high....there is an alternative which is similar...have a look at the 'Stahlbus'. Just so you guys know a good alternative.
They also offer valves for the brake fluid so you can change your brake fluid easily and on your own. If you keep your car for a long time, it might be profitable.
