Been busy lately. Changed manual transmission fluid about 2 months ago and did my first oil change this past weekend. Got an alignment check about 2 weeks ago and found my rear axle to be right on the edge of the specs. Enough to wear my tires out faster but not enough to warrant an axle replacement.
Made a trip to the salvage yard about a week ago and got some good stuff off a '15 Mirage ES.
So far using these parts, I've got cruise control enabled and audio controls working. Bluetooth control work, and bluetooth module works, but I don't have the microphone in the headliner to make the voice commands to pair my phone. So I'm looking for a workaround for that. Still working on peeling off the double sided tape from the sill plates and the mud flaps. Installed 1 mud flap to see how I like it. Does anyone know if the mud flaps are supposed to look like this with the large bowl shape. Seems like a good place for dirt to collect not to mention aerodynamic drag.
Got my windows tinted. Wish I could have gone darker. It's only a 30% tint which is the legal maximum darkness here in AL. Figured I didn't want the chance of a ticket.
Removed my hubcaps to see how I like the look:
Installed some $60 OEM style foglights off Ebay. Having trouble programming ETACS to enable fog lights and still need to find a suitable switch with the fog lights included on the stalk. The multifunction steering column switch on the 2015 was way different than the one in my 2014
