Connect iPhone to standard radio by USB

    Hi,

I just got my new 2017 Space Star today, and so far it feels good.

However, I encountered an issue with the standard radio. I connected my iPhone to the USB, and the system recognized it, and played music from it. But when I try to select from the Artists/Albums/Playlist menu using - I get a message "empty song". Only the "song" menu works ok.
Anyone has an idea how to resolve this issue? I always listen to music from my iPhone and I really love the option to control on what to here from the system so I don't need to handle the phone.

Also - when I disconnect my iPhone and reconnect it keep starting to play from the first song.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Read the owner's manual. There is a limited amount of folders and subfolders you can use with the base system.

    Thanks for the reply.
I did read the owner's manual. What I'm talking about is not folder - with the iPhone the system support the iPod protocols.

Not sure how I did it - but it seems that the "empty song" issue is resolved, and I can now browse the categories (Songs, Artists, Albums, etc.).
The only issue left is that when I finish a drive, and disconnect the phone, and alter get back to the car and connect the iPhone, instead of resume the play from the category it was, it continue like it is in the songs category.
For example - if I selected an album to play and disconnected the phone, when I connect the phone later it plays the last song I was listening, but then continues to the next song alphabetically, instead of to continue to the next song in the album.

I know it is not a big deal, but I would really like to resolve this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

I've had better luck connecting with bluetooth for resuming the last song I played with my iPhone.
