Zero, 2014 ES Plus 5MT, written off but not forgotten.
Zero II, 2014 SE, 5MT, climate She's HOME now!
    Shelby AKA "Cute", 2017 ES 5MT, A/C.

Mirage owners look at the world differently than everyone else, but in a better way
We're driving the Beetle of the 21st century, the greatest small car now available!

Yes. We simply didn't drive it that much. We have three other vehicles and the WRX remained parked most of the time.

My Mirage purchase was inspired by a former car and settled on by a pirate joke. the former car was a 1991 Honda CRX that I bought as a project but sadly, it proved to be too much for my meager skills.

The pirate joke is one that I made up myself and am quite proud of. Originally I wanted a Yaris with manual transmission but after 6 months of looking and not finding, I found the Mirage for about what I was willing to pay for a 60k Yaris and the Mirage was brand new. So, the joke... Me: "Is that a Yaris?" Pirate: "Yar. Is"

    Pirate jokes are the best.

What was wrong with the CRX? I almost bought one once... 1st gen, too rusty. (Says the guy who recently fixed this.)

well done with the Miata - my CRX needed everything and I was well into it for a while, then I changed jobs and lost some free time so after it sat untouched for a few months I decided to pass it on - wish I had kept it because my time freed up again

I am currently working on my 92 VW GTI 16v I have owned since 1999. No Rust. Lots of work done, although it is not by me. All through VW shops. It is actually getting pretty Dialed.
