Dont think I posted on here yet: I traded in my 2009 Kia Rio Base - no AC/PS because my brother wrecked that car.
I would have kept it for a weekend racer project, but I got into motorcycles about the same time so didnt need a dedicated track car.

My 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage replaced a 2002 Volkswagen Passat. Both were purchased new. I enjoyed the Passat but after only 2 years it just had one problem after another. The Mitsubishi is awesome! I love it. Do no other than regular maintenance on it. It is an absolute no-troubles car. And I enjoy the gas mileage that I get from driving long distances. I don't miss the Passat one bit!

First car it replaced was a 2007 Toyota Yaris with a rotted out area where a rear control arm connects to the body.

For my second Mirage, it's in the midst of replacing a 2008 Tribute with a wonky transmission.

I got scrapping reward from old Mitsubishi Galant Hatchback 1992 (which I kind of traded to my Space Star).

In 2015 there was a scrapping campaign to renew old polluting cars to new less polluting ones in Finland and this year the campaign was renewed since it was success back in 2015.

In 2015 I was able to get 1500€ off. Now in 2018 you could get 2500€.

Just bought a 2018 Mirage GT in sapphire blue, that replaced my 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD in red. Had an older 90's mirage back in the day, loved it, so I looked in to the new ones when I decided to stop dumping money into it and get something more reliable and 100% better one fuel economy.

Hello Blutenchi and welcome to the forum.

Your new Mirage is going to operate a little different from your old Liberty. Let us know if you have any questions and we'll do our best to help out. Everyone here is willing to help make the most of these little cars. I bought one for the fuel economy and found that with driving technique and a few modifications I'm able to average nearly 50 mpg with mostly city driving. That's hybrid territory, without the added cost or complexity.

Anyway, let us know if you have any questions and we'll do our best to help out. Welcome.

Looks nice. I like those headlights. I wonder what it would take to swap those into my se.
