Nice wheels. Tell us more about them - how they affect fuel economy, ride & handling.

Note that I bought the alloy wheels in Manila Philippines during my most recent travel there. The set is 'slightly' used - taken off of 2017 Mirage G4 GLS. Folks there like to swap their stock alloys almost immediately after buying, reason I snagged these for 9K Philippine pesos (roughly $175). I packed all 4 wheels in a 20/20 box and declared the checked-in baggage as personal items on my flight back stateside. I paid an additional $100 for the overweight checked-in baggage, putting the overall price to a tad under $300.
I purchased the tires from Discount Tires and had them do the install. They charged me $486 for the set of Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 Plus 185/55/R15. They had a rebate going for $70 off a set of qualifying Bridgestone tires plus $30 off for using Discount Tire credit card. This put the price down to $386.
Top Fuel's post was a big factor for the tire choice --> http://mirageforum.com/forum/showthr...eels-and-Tires. I can't technically verbose, but after driving it for 1 week now I can vouch for the fuel efficiency as he posted it. My assumption is: since I swapped for G4 GLS (overseas variant) OEM wheels that is just 0.5 more width than the OEM alloys that come with the G4 SE sold here, I have stayed on point with the speedo reading. I can confidently say that meep is still fuel efficient as it was.
The ecopia tires definitely improved the ride and handling. More comfortable and road noise is considerably reduced. I no longer have to crank up my spotify playlist :-) .
Lastly, the new wheel/tire combo definitely gave meep a better visual treat.
My next project is to replace the rear coil springs. We know of a slight downside that is "the rear suspension tends to bottom when you hit a bump or an irregularity on the road surface if you have a heavy load in the trunk or there are 4 to 5 people on board". Am looking at KYB K-Flex that folks in Manila swear provide better spring rate and improve corner/swerve stability up to 30%. They also say the KYB springs get rid of the 'bouncy' feel of the ride.
Enjoy!
I heard KYB was making replacement rear springs but I thought they were the same spring rate as OEM?

The latest part number selling in Manila is RZ5122 - specific to the G4. From what I was told over there it has higher spring rate, longer in length and thicker in diameter than the stock.
