    Soon to be owner

    Hello all.
I am from Ontario and am getting my new mirage g4 on Wednesday. I am trading in my 2006 Malibu maxx so its a bit of a change but I'll be commuting soon which is why I am buying the mirage g4 es. I splurged a little and added the car play. I have been creeping the forums for 2 weeks so I figured now would be a good time to join.

Hello Zebra and welcome to the forum. Let us know if you have any questions and we'll do our best to help out.

I drove a 2000 model year Chevy Malibu years ago. I thought it was a good car but compared to the Mirage it's heavy. It doesn't take much to get a Mirage moving along. You'll enjoy some great fuel economy in your new Mirage. Parking and other maneuvers are a breeze due to it's small size. And while I don't know what equipment you had on your Malibu, the Mirage has an impressive list of features. I use the bluetooth quite a bit, if only to play audio files.

One of the first things I have done for improved fuel economy is increase the air pressure in the tires and turn off the automatic AC control. Both are easily done without cost and can help increase the longevity of your new car.

Where did you get your forum name? It reminds me of the rock band.

    Welcome!

    Welcome, Zebra!

What part of the province are you in?

Congrats on the G4. Let us know how how the delivery goes tomorrow. You'll love the reliability, the spacious interior, the features, the smooth ride (for a small car), the maneuverability & the fantastic fuel economy. I was impressed when I drove one.

    Darin

I am from central Ontario and will definitely take pictures tomorrow when I pick the car up. I am looking forward to the good fuel econ. I just wish I paid more for the sel rather than the es with carplay but I will still love it

Well I picked Balls up today (smurfette is her pg Nickname) and I was nervous if I would like it. But I love it! The ride is smooth, I don't find it too noisy. I backed in to a parking spot today and my husband laughed saying I had lots of room to back up. I guess it will take some time to get used to haha.
