To be honest I am bit hesitant to order it. It could not get a straight answer if it will fit.

I ordered a $5 cheapie on ebay earlier this year after the crappy stock one that came with the 2014 snapped like a twig.

It is considerably more solid, but I can't really say the reception is exceptional comparatively. My old car had much better reception. I would be interested in a good suggestion as well.

I just wanted a shorter one than the stock whip on my '14 Mirage so I ordered the 11" sometime in 2015. This is how it looks on my car

How is the reception? I get a lot of static on the AM and the FM is not loud. I am inclining to think is the Carplay/Android Auto unit.

I have the same radio in my 17' and there's a number of places where I was having problems with reception, one place is a mile long tunnel on my way to work and the other is in my underground parking garage. I installed a 16" mast today and I got full reception in my underground garage. I haven't tested the tunnel yet. The mast cost $1.71 on Ebay and is 16" and doesn't rub the hatch when open. It's worth almost the free price. It did take 3 weeks to arrive though, no biggie to me though.

I got the antenna from the link you send me. Either they changed the listing but its not compatible with the car. The threader is too wide and thick.

WOW thanks, but only if I can pay for it:-) BTW. is the side the same on the hatch as it is on the sedan? That might be an issue.
