Four years of the sixth generation Mirage!

And they said it wouldn't sell.

I noticed Wikipedia lists three locations of assembly:
    Thailand: Laem Chabang (MMTh)
    Philippines: Santa Rosa (MMPC)
    Indonesia: Bekasi (MMKI)

I didn't know about Indonesia. Is this new?

    First I've heard of it.

I suspect it's similar to Philippine production: assembly only, meant for domestic consumption.

I think it is a mistake to list the Bekasi plant for the Mirage. I can only find three other models being made there:

President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo announced on Tuesday the opening of a new Mitsubishi plant in Bekasi, West Java, saying that the investment was important to Indonesia's economy.

Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia (MMKI), the local arm of Mitsubishi Motors of Japan, built the factory at a total cost of Rp 7.5 trillion. The factory has a production capacity of 160,000 vehicles per year.

"This will create 3,000 jobs," the President said during his speech.

With the new factory, Mitsubishi could help facilitate a transfer of knowledge from Japan to Indonesia.

"It would be great if Japan’s disciplined work culture could be transferred to Indonesia's human resources," he said.

The plant now has 3,000 employees, 100 of whom are Japanese, while the rest are Indonesians.

The factory will produce three types of cars, namely the Pajero Sport , the MPV 7-seater and the Colt L300. (bbn)

In addition to already locally-produced vehicles such as the COLT L300, a brand-new small MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) model and an all-new Pajero Sport will also be assembled at the new plant. A portion of those vehicles will be exported to other ASEAN countries, and the plant is expected to play a very important role as the second largest production site for MMC vehicles in the ASEAN region, following the Laem Chabang Plant in Thailand. Total investment, including costs for the development of the new models, will be approximately 60 billion yen.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the new plant is scheduled for March 24.

    Sure! Glad to help.

I also noticed on the bottom of that page that MirageForum.com is referenced twice in that article. Here are the threads cited:

12 lightest cars in the US, 2014 (vs. Mitsubishi Mirage 1973 lbs curb weight)

Aerodynamics of the new Mirage (0.27-0.31 drag coefficient varies with options)

From what I can tell it looks like the 2018 Mirage family with Display Audio with Smartphone Link can control some vehicle settings in ETACS using apps built in to the radio.

    Hopefully someone can confirm this.

So if I understand this correctly, the 2018 ES uses a 7" touchscreen radio with Bluetooth but does not offer CarPlay? You have to get the SE or GT to have that feature included? The press release stated the SE and GT have a USB port in center console but according to a pic of an ES, it has it too.

Looking at pics of 2017 and 2018 radios, I noticed the 2017 does not have a "phone" button on the radio. So you can't access the phone through the radio unless you have the phone plugged into the port? It appears the 2018 radio is much more user friendly, but I REALLY want an SE manual. Ugghh, I hate that Mitsubishi messed with a good thing.

According to the current specifications for 2018 models, it looks like Apple CarPlay & Android Auto is standard on the SE and GT trims but not the ES.

Do you suppose it could be added?
