I don't know..that's a good question. Also curious whether the new radio can be added to 2017 models.

I opted to get the Display Audio with Smartphone Link and I hate it. Extremely bad reception, phone stays connected to it and tells me the radio remains on. I honestly think the 7 inch audio is better. Has better reception, audio clarity, HD radio and just works better.

Interesting tidbit I discovered....for 2018, the SE and GT are using what appears to be the same 6.5" stereo that the 2017 had. So the only one with the 7" screen is the ES. Strange the base model has the biggest screen but it does lack CarPlay.

I have the 6.5 inch and I would get the 7 inch. The 6.5 inch CP/AA system is really crappy.

The 2018 ES has a FULL Armrest with storage box vs the armrest on the seat itself for SE and GT... strange...

Test drove an '18 G4 SE. The armrest seemed solid but was thin - width wise. Not an overly comfortable place to rest your arm.

On the positive side, it did come out into the passenger compartment wells past the seat fronts.

Ended up buying a '17 G4 SE and will add an aftermarket armrest like I did for my '14 Marage.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I just saw there is no SE or SEL option for the 2018 in Canada. So if you want a car with cruise you need to get a GT for 20k? https://www.mitsubishi-motors.ca/en/...te_id=20088589

Yeah I have never liked those slim pull down rests in any car. We had those in our sienna van and I never used them. My arms are bigger than avg too so it was especially narrow for me.

The storage one works fine as long as the seat is all the way back or very close to it otherwise it's not usable, for shorter ppl for instance.
