    So long Geo, Hello Mirage.

    https://goo.gl/photos/xeP7p1BSCYJQMqJP8

Paid $10.3K + tax + licensing = just under $12K out of the door.

Love the new ride! I am very amused by all the insults that this car evokes.

Hello Jenya and welcome to the forum.

Let us know if you have any questions about your new Mirage. Well, I presume it's new...

Please make a garage entry. Garage empty: add car

Also the site has a fuel economy log feature found at the top of every page. Have a look around at what others are getting out of their Mirages and make an entry of your own.

We have members from around the world, with more than a few from the Pacific Northwest.

What made you decide on a Mirage?

Welcome aboard, fellow Washingtonian! My Mirage also replaced a Metro. Lotta current and former Metro folks here.

If you like the Geo, you will definitely like the Mirage.

I don't even see what all the gaff about the steering is about. It feels just fine to me: plenty heavy, returns to center as good as any other car. The suspension is a bit on the soft side, but the car sticks to the road in the corners just fine. I don't know what the mpg is yet, because I am loading the engine while driving to make rings seal better. The car shows a great promise of offering good fuel economy even with an inefficient style driving. I'll start driving mpg conscious after about 300 miles of the breaking in style driving.

Still need to read the manual. I noticed that there was a picture of wrench and a number 15000 next to it. I assume, I am supposed to do some kind of immanence at 15K miles.

I already ordered a set of Weathertech mats. Thinking about getting Weathertech cargo liner too. I need some cover for the dash as well to keep dog drool away. And, of course, seat covers.

That's a maintenance reminder. You can reset it yourself or have your dealer take care of it.

Be careful with seat covers as the Mirage has airbags in the seats, and you don't want to interfere with their operation.

It sounds as if you are somewhat familiar with vehicle maintenance. Here's some things for you to think about:
    1. Download a copy of the 2015 service manual.
    2. Have your alignment checked. Let your dealer know if your steering wheel is off center and they'll take care of it for you. Be sure to get a copy of the alignment results.

Let us know if you have any questions.

The maintenance reminder is useless imo. I just change oil every 3000 miles on conventional oil. I tried turning my reminder off but managed to set it to 35,000 lol.

It was an issue with the 2014s and 2015s. They fixed it on the 2017.
