Exactly. The factory rotors were fine but when I put the wheels on you could see them front and center so I wanted them to look better. Luckily they just happened to be pretty good as well.

    2. The slots and holes serve to more quickly shave down the pad material
    3. Improper machining weakens the assembly and fosters cracking in the rotor
    4. Under ordinary road use the brakes never get hot enough for fading.

But then again, maybe you are racing your Mirage?

Also, have you looked into using the rotor & caliper bracket from a 2107?
There is actually a amazing new track opening up in the next town over and a bunch of track racing enthusiast are calling it one of the best tracks on the east coast and I definitely have plans on being a regular there lol

Looks nice! What's it called - any website for the course? You must have racing experience then.

I was told a funny joke by an old SCCA racer: Do you know how make a small fortune in racing?

    Start with a big one.

The way he described racing, it is a hobby of everlasting consumption. Every week you spend under your car throwing money at it replacing wear items and whatever failed from the previous weekend.

Every weekend you travel trying to accumulate points for the season.

Only the good drivers who consistently prove themselves get sponsorship for their hobby.

I also have the brakeperformance rotors, and I'm very happy with this upgrade.

Which one did you buy? I'm interested too to upgrade my brake system.
