    New front speakers.

    Hey all.

Today was a fun day. Installed a set of FLI component speakers in the mirage.
Need to get use to having tweeters blasting in my face. First car I have upgraded the sound system to include them.
Will hook up the amp in the coming weeks so they get a lot more than the 15w provided by the headunit.
    Here are some photos:

Doesn't look the best. I just wanted it to hold.

Looks good from the side you see.

    Looks factory :P

Sits nicely. Can see the tweeter in certain angles.

    Back of the speaker

    Mounted in the adapter.

Sitting nicely in the door. Looks factory fitted.

Like the tweeter, on the right angle and lighting, you can see the speaker behind the door card grille.

Am excited to get them amped. Will get the rear hooked up for later when I change them to something better.

Nice clean installation - thanks for sharing.

Can you provide links to the gear? Drivers, adapters, any wiring, the adhesive, etc.

Looks great!! How much of a sound quality difference did you notice with just adding those (not having an amp yet)?

Currently no extra wiring. Amp won't need any extra either, it just taps into the speaker wires behind the dash, and piggybacks off the cigarette lighter power.

Difference is crazy. The stock speakers are fine to listen to. But they lack so much in highs. Can't wait for them to be amped. Will go from 15/20 watts to 75 or more.

I've order the tweeter mounting from the link. Seems the guy who sell it was from China mainland.

Where did you get them? I'm looking to use adapters instead of cutting
