Disable front passanger air bag?

My Space Star has a switch to switch off the passenger airbag.

Don't know if it also has an automatic switch. There is a sensor in the chair, as the seatbelt warning works.

Space Wolf thanks for posting that photo. If your Space Star can accommodate such a switch, I wonder if it can be fitted to other versions of this car.

Do you know if it is available on all model years, or just yours?

Are you able to tell where it is wired to? I'm going to guess that it goes to the SRS-ECU. If so, there may be a reference to this in a wiring diagram somewhere.

Also, it would be helpful if you made a forum Garage entry and tell us how your Space Star is configured.
