Eggman, I wonder if the cut off switch is just the occupancy sensor in the seat itself. If it only has 2 wires going to it then it should be able to just put your own toggle switch. Or why not just pull the airbag fuse. Then it's at least fair, nobody gets an airbag when you crash. Or unplug the 3 rh airbags, and then check the resistance of them. Install reisistors of that value in the pigtail and leave bags unplugged. If you ever want your passenger to have a higher chance of survival, then remove the resistors and plug the airbags back in. That's kind of a pain in the ass though.
