Real men drive Mirages, ( and Metros/Swifts too ) . Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen any guys driving Mirages around here either. Bunch of wussies.

I am a man too and I also drive a Mirage. My wife actually prefers her 1999 Grand Marquis to my Mirage. I offered to let her drive it when we bought it new and she declined. I've always preferred small cars and she has always preferred large cars. However, if the Grand Marquis ever bites the dust we will be buying a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with the 2.0 i4 for her.

I am a man and drive a Mirage. I have never seen another Mirage in the north Lake Tahoe area. Therefore I conclude that 100% of all Mirage's are driven by men in this area.

I think its 2/3 men and 1/3 women driving a Mirage in my city.

You can see how the utilitarian and practicality of a Mirage would appeal to men (logic). Harder I think for a woman to fall in love with the Mirage.

I dont get too many comments on mine (except when they notice its a stickshift and that usually opens up a conversation about stick shifts)

The car really blends in and is "un-memorable" to most people. I guess it would make a good car for a criminal in that regard.

COP: "Did you get a look at the car or the driver?"
EYE WITNESS: "It was a gray car, I dont remember. The driver had a beard, sunglasses and a baseball cap"
COP: "What model of car was it?"
EYE WITNESS: "I dont know, maybe a Honda Fit?"

I'm a man, and I just bought my second Mirage.

In fact, my entire driving history:
    1986 Chevette
1988 Beretta (worst car I've ever been in)
    1996 Civic
    1981 Chevette
    1982 Chevette
    2010 Accent
    2014 Mirage
    2017 Mirage

I guess I just like the little hatchbacks.

Chevettes? I've never owned one, but I'm old enough to remember when the first model year. And the memories weren't good. I guess it depends upon the car.

My friend in HS had an old red chevette. He actually took it to the local dirt bike track and was jumping it a little haha. He used to always tell ppl he drove a Vette. Lol
