    To Offset my Carbon Footprint

Because I am getting such good gas mileage with my Mirage I thought I would build something... Well... Humm.. Something that get really crappy gas mileage. Something that would do the things that my Mirage can't or will not do.. Like haul heavy stuff, pull a trailer, and most important it had to burn rubber and go really fast!! I needed something that would scare the wife and kids every time it started up!

So this is what I did, I built an 80's S10 with a 350 small block Chevy engine. I put a 700r4 (4 speed transmission) behind the engine. I had the tranny outfitted with a manual valve body and a B&M shift kit. I put a posi rear end with 3.72 gears.

I call her Betty and she is mean!

So what do you drive to offset your carbon footprint?

    Wow thats really awesome.

Talk about a custom vehicle. And everyone loves a neighbor that owns a pick-up truck (So they can borrow it)
