2017 Speaker Install (For folks who want adapters)

I know there is a bunch of info here for taking door panels off, and making a bigger hole, and drilling, etc. I also know there are speaker adapters available in other countries, and I had a hard time finding adapters.

I didn't want to do drill, cut, or otherwise destroy my new car. So I found these adapters made by Scosche. They are available on amazon, crutchfield, and other places. I took a chance, as I found a set for $12.00 on ebay.

The eBay link where I purchased my adapters: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scosche-SAMI...kAAOSwU8hY7nT6

It does not say that they are compatible with the Mirage, but for the front doors at least (as I'm still waiting for the second pair of adapters I ordered) they DO fit, PERFECTLY.

I just wanted share this info with everyone.

Excellent find, did you get your 2nd pair yet? Can you confirm if they fit right in without making any new holes in your car?

I did get my second pair, but haven't installed them yet. Was planning on doing it this weekend sometime.

Let me know how it went/goes. The only reason why I am holding back is to avoid chopping into my doors

They will work perfectly for the rear as well; I used the exact same item to do mine all around.

Did you they fit right in or did you to have make any modifications? any new holes?

The 3 tabs on the spacer align perfectly with the 3 triangular holes on the door; insert and twist, done!

I put a few dabs of silicone in between the door and the spacer when I put mine on to ensure it wouldn't loosen up over time, but they fit tight enough that this is probably unecessary.
