I parked next to an old Datsun 240Z last week and discovered that compared to that, the Mirage is actually pretty big. After checking some measurements via Google, I dummied up this approximate comparison. While the 240z is just a bit longer, the Mirage is much taller and has a longer wheel base. The same comparison holds for the 1992 Miata, which my Mirage replaced.
