    Angry This review is unbelievable

This review just makes my blood boil:

    https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/mitsubishi/mirage

Perhaps, the most outrageous thing in this review is

The Mitsubishi Mirage is not a very good car.
To whom is it not a good car? Maybe to someone expecting the 1.2 L engine to have the power of a 2 L engine or a luxury interior at the price point of the Mirage? These would be unrealistic expectations. For someone expecting a car that gets excellent gas mileage and for someone who understands that a car with great gas mileage and a small engine will not have the power of a car with a large engine and for someone who likes to have many great features at a low price, this car is excellent.

The authors of that review like to use the phrase "low rent materials" when talking about the interior of the Mirage, and they make a big deal out of the fact that the dash and arm rests are constructed of hard plastic. This week I had occasion to spend a lot of time in a Toyota Camry. The Camry is considerably more expensive than the Mirage and is arguably the flagship car in Toyota's lineup. I paid particular attention to the dash and other surfaces of the Camry and guess what? Hard plastic. So I guess the interior of the Camry is also "low rent" by the standards of that review.

Then they talk about the engine being anemic. I have not found the engine to be anemic. I find it quite adequate. Again, I don't think the authors appreciate the fact that you can't have excellent gas mileage and a huge, powerful engine at the same time. The authors seem to be reviewing the car for a purpose that exists only in their minds rather than for the purpose for which the car was designed.

The fact is that the Mirage is a great car for anyone who wants excellent gas mileage at a low price point with lots of nice features.
