    Air assist kits

I seen a few people talking about different air suspension kits and was hoping for opinions on which brand to get, and why?

Also ive noticed a lot of the kits don't include check valves to sepaperate the pills.. Wouldn't this make the car lean more when it turns?

I've never used something like that. I used to see them in the front coils of some late 70's to 80's gm 1 tons. What do you mean by check valve? If I were to try these I'd use one fill for each side rather than teeing them together. How much weight are you hauling to need airbags or are you just trying to stiffen up the rear for handling?

Check valve // one-way valve like a pcv valve (ball seat and spring)

Your right 2 fills or any other way to isolate the bags.

When i go tow my atv around its pretty rough on the rear springs. Ide guess 800lbs rolling weight, maybe 200lbs on the tongue.

Anyone know how long these last? It seems like they would wear out and pop... Any input appreciated. Looking for a long term solution that doesn't cost a lot.

Generally air bag systems designed for regular Hwy use are tied together to one air line on each axle or tandem set. We can then use one levelling valve to adjust each axle or tandem set. This equalises load at both ends (left/right) of each axle or set.
The crossover of air between a set of bags is quite slow so unless you drive continuously in a circle with heavy loads you will never have issue with leaning or unbalanced pressure. The goal is equal pressure on both sides under varying load/driving conditions.
Check your prov/state regs to determine required configuration.
    Will weld for beer.

Ich, cool i had no idea about the load leveling valves even As much as i like to play like my mirage is a semi lol

I looked them up and they're actually not badly priced but think it's a little overkill for my application, due to the trailer will always be hitched center.

    i appreciate the knowledge, tho

    Thanks

I'm considering a set of bags in the rear with auto levelling and a low volume air pump to keep ride height and alignment constant when I have a couple passengers in back.
Let us know what you think of your installation if you go ahead with it.

Stiffer springs are one thing. It's something else to be able to adjust it.

I've used the AirLift products in the past. No problems and worked great. When I was wasn't hauling anything, I'd air them down to around 20 psi and with a load I'd run around 75 psi.
